o º o º o º o º o º o º TAKING CHANCES TOUR - 2009 o º o º o º o º o º o º o º
Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, February 12th, 14th and 15th 2009, Montréal (Québec-Canada)
Oh My God! I was so afraid I would never make this trip as it happened in November. Many factors had put me away from Céline concerts in the past few months.
In November 2008 she has got sick and postponed my concert to February. Then I was supposed to go to Florida in January but no luck, had no way to leave my job for a week. To make me then even more worried, René moved the concert in Montréal from the 13th to the 12th, and then I had to leave Paris in the afternoon and have the concert on the same night, which could have been dangerous if only there would have had a snow storm.
Well, we made it!! That was probably the most
incredible experience since my first meeting with Céline about 2 years ago. When
I just landed, got a message from my beloved friend Shirley saying all the group
I was with (the read heads) had been allowed to see the sound checking but as I
wouldn't have the time to make the way from the airport to the venue and then be
inside ... I lost that chance... well... I got a bit sad but then it was ok... I
just knew I had something better awaiting for me...

We've had such a wonderful time!! 3 concerts, very good located seats and ... Ok... Ok... I will take a breath and...
1st night (Thursday) - When I saw my seat I thought... it couldn't have been any better!! Exactly where céline comes by and leaves the stadium... when leaving she gave Shirley a Kiss, I was kind of screaming Céline's name and she touched my hands, looked into my eyes and said: Merci! I will never forget the way she looked into my eyes, never... it was sooo special!! sooo cute!!!
2nd night (Saturday) - My friend Shirley had the
right to make the sound checking again as she had a terrible one in May 2008,
and she invited me to come along as she also had the right to have someone else
with (Lucky me!!).... lol... First we had René excusing himself and Feelings for
not having provided good services on previous Hot Sounds. Of course, we were not
the only ones to have such right. He also recognized me from the DVD and said he
was very happy to seeing me again. I got so happy and thought it would be over
when suddenly our girl (Céline) came by and did the same, excused herself as
well and gave us a chance to take a picture with her. We were right in front of
Céline (When only I get the picture you'll understand how). I had turned my neck
into her and asked if she was ok in French, she looked again into my eyes and
said she was fantastic and asked how I was. I was surely a bit shy but at least
I had such a special moment again.
During the concert she looked into Shirley and I and gave us a High 5. OH MY
GOD!!! I will never ever ever forget that!!
3rd night (Sunday) - We did quite a few things, and even went to see her arrival at the venue but there were soo many people doing just the same thing that we didn't even have the chance to see her. That's fine anyways. The concert was awesome as usual. She said it was the end of the tour and Montréal would have been the last but she had to postpone some shows so there was still somethings to do and all that.
I liked my trip to Montréal. I feel so at home when I am there and it makes me feel soo good by meeting people I already know, by meeting friends I have made through the years, and by making new friends as well.
Loved the international fan meeting at Nickels. Loved the Picture Expo. Simply have no words to describe my happiness!
I am also happy it's not the last time I am writing on the Taking Chances tour as I still have another 2 concerts to come.
More surprises? Well... I hope so!
